- Safety, health, and hygiene of workers on the remediation project.
Proper PPE (Tyvek suits, respirators, and gloves) are required and
enforced on all remediation jobs
- If testing was not performed during the initial inspection, samples
will be collected at this time, prior to the start of the job
- Proper containment of affected area as to not compromise additional
areas. Contained area is then put under negative air to assist in the
removal of mold spores as they are released during the project
- Removal of contaminated, porous materials. Materials are bagged,
wiped down and decontaminated before they are removed from the dwelling.
- Application of proper biocides to kill off remaining mold on areas
not removed during the removal/demolition step. Most jobs require
biocide, sand, and biocide again to properly kill the mold
- MoldStoppers™ applies its proprietary moldBlock™, to the remediated
areas. moldBlock™ is a patented, FDA GRAS chemical that, when applied,
will give a 20-warranty to the consumer against mold returning to the
remediated area.
- HEPA vac used on the final clean-up of the project
Final mold inspection and testing
Lab results from the testing performed at the start and finish are
provided to the customer to confirm that the remediation project was
successful and the air quality inside was comparable to the air quality
outside. |
